Our Quarry: Aggregate for Engineered Slabs and Road Construction in North Bay
All of our quarried aggregates come from our Birchs Road properties in North Bay. We have several hundred acres that have been committed to supplying product for our firm, and we’re fully licensed.
All of our aggregates undergo considerable testing and are approved for concrete structures for M.T.O. projects as well as hydroelectric dams as they are non-acidic. Each product’s particles and stone is scrutinized for sizing to meet the specific parameters of its type and use. Many of the aggregates undergo compaction testing for use on engineered slabs, road construction and more in North Bay and across northeastern Ontario.
We’re Certified
In order to be approved for M.T.O. bridgework, the stone has to pass a barrage of rather extensive engineering and scientific testing such as freeze-thaw resistance, specific density, polarity, composition, abrasion, crush resistance, etc.
We are confident in the quality of our product and take pride in knowing that it has consistently surpassed strict requirements.
